So I guess if we’re starting full philosophical, the most root answer to “why Devin does” is, “because it was better than not doing it.”

Okay, but why was doing it better than not doing it?

I think, it brought me joy at the time? Regardless of what specific it I did, I think that is what it came down to: a feeling that doing that thing, at that moment, would in some way, increase the net joy (mine or someone else’s) experienced in the world.

I do somethings for money, but I try to avoid it when possible, and always use the money to do other, more enjoyable things sometimes for myself, sometimes for others.
