Loud Technomancing Burner
(with a Hipster Haircut)
Oh, hello there.
I’m Devin, that’s a photo of me up there, and if I had to list a weakness, it would probably be writing introductions about myself.
If you’re interested in what I do, or why I do things, check out those pages, no need to repeat myself here.
I was born in 1990, I’m a Scorpio if you like that, and a “metal horse” if you prefer that instead, I’m not really sure what either of those mean, but people have mentioned it off-hand enough times that it must be pertinate to something.
People sometimes know me as “Captain Queue,” host of “Something Considered” 94.5 BMIR, or as “DFtI,” (Dif-ti) Devin From The Internet..
I used to teach art, ceramics and printmaking in particular, but have always had an aptitude of technology and helping other utilize technology to enrich their lives. I still do art, plenty of vinyl cutting, music making, Lino printing, and digital compositing.
I currently work for the Burning Man Project, the NPO responsible for the annual Burning Man Event in the Black Rock Desert, and for spreading Burner culture around the world.
Presently I live in Reno, NV with my partner and our Scottish terrier, Galley. She is the most handsome young lady to ever grace four legs. (The dog; my partner is also quite a fetching woman of style, but only has the two legs)
I enjoy tabletop roleplaying games, geek culture, and off-road motorsport.
If I had to pick a favorite color it would be red, a favorite number is 14, I would tell you my childhood pet’s name too, but then you could answer all the security questions for my bank.
Some say I’m from the internet, you can find me here:
